Gezel is looking for a department head for the project team who will have overall responsibility for the implementation of HVAC projects.

Gezel We are looking for an experienced project manager with leadership skills who can take our project operations to the next level. As Head of Projects, you will manage our project managers and workers and ensure that projects are completed safely, to a high standard, on time, and profitably.

You work closely with technology and the construction sites, but your greatest achievement lies in strengthening people, processes, and collaboration.

Your role

You serve as the operational link between our CTO, our project managers, and the people on the front lines. You manage our project managers and serve as a visible point of contact for our frontline staff.

You will lead our project managers and monitor the performance of the entire HVAC project portfolio. Together, you will carry out challenging projects in the industrial, healthcare, education, commercial construction, and public sectors.

Specifically:

• You will manage and coach project leaders.
• You are the primary point of contact for our workers and ensure that employees feel heard, supported, and engaged within the organization.
• You monitor scheduling, capacity, quality, and efficiency.
• You analyze project results and implement improvement measures.
• You will provide support in addressing complex technical and organizational challenges.
• You set priorities among projects.
• You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• You will report directly to the CTO.

Who are we looking for?

For this position, we are not simply looking for an additional project manager. We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who combines technical expertise with natural leadership skills. You have:

• Experience as a project manager in HVAC or technical systems.
• Was responsible for the budget, planning, and performance.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC.
• You feel at home in a role where you interact with both project leaders and people on the shop floor.
• Financial insight into margins, final cost calculations, and additional work.
• Experience in mentoring or supervising employees.
• The ability to maintain a broad perspective and make decisions.
• You live in the greater Buggenhout area (within a 30-minute drive).
