Your role at Gezel

As a Senior HVAC Project Manager, you will take on sold projects for implementation. After a thorough initial consultation with the client, you will take ownership of the project and oversee it from preparation through to completion.

You will work closely with the technical director, and for each project you will receive support from the project administration team. Site managers, foremen, and our field team will report to you, as will the subcontractors.

Within the predetermined budget, you’ll have a lot of freedom to:

• technical solutions
• product options
• selection of partners, subcontractors, and suppliers (within a preferred supplier framework)

You oversee quality, scheduling, and productivity, and manage site and crew supervisors in a clear, respectful, and fair manner.

Specifically:

• You will have overall responsibility for multiple HVAC projects
• You will oversee the budget, schedule, and technical quality
• You make decisions and aren't afraid to adjust course when necessary
• You communicate openly and honestly, even when things get tough
• You will work closely with fellow project managers and the technical management team
• You will support new project managers and guide them through a development program
• You stay on top of things without losing sight of the reality on the job site

Who are we looking for?

We’re not looking for potential, but proven experience.

• You have several years of experience as a project manager, preferably in HVAC
• You have managed projects from start to finish, including budget responsibility
• You have a strong technical background (engineering degree or equivalent experience)
• You work in a structured manner, but remain pragmatic
• You take responsibility and don't let things slide
• You feel at home in a culture of open communication and mutual trust
• You live within a half-hour drive of Buggenhout or Sint-Niklaas

You don't have to be the one in charge. But you do need to:
