Client: Noven/Ion / Location: Waregem

Gezel realized the heat and cold production for both the hotel and the residential towers of the Waterfront project in Waregem. This production is based on 'water-water' heat pumps that are connected to ground-submersibles. We get the energy for cooling and heating from those boreholes, which go down to a hundred meters deep. There is additional support from CHPs (producing electricity and heat) and, if necessary, gas boilers.

It is a very complex installation in a very limited space. With this BIM approach, our draftsmen drew the entire technical space in 3D beforehand to see if the project was feasible in this setup.
